WASHINGTON, D.Z DISCOVERY ZONE: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released a statement earlier today saying it is considering listing “The Rich” as food.

The statement, released at approximately 11:30 A.M EST, cited “popular demand” as a reason for the administration’s possible move.

“We saw all those “East The Rich” t-shirts and signs and we were like, okay,” said Dr. William Baldwin, Lead Food Analyst at the FDA. “Nutritionally, [“The Rich”] are about on-par with Papa John’s.”

Critics of the potential decision have been vocal. “Wait, they’re actually trying to make us like[sid] actually food? Like to eat?” asked Wendy Oglethorpe, 35 of Lithgow, MN.

Recent reports indicated that some of “The Rich” have started eating themselves in protest.
