NEW YORK, NY: Lady Gaga surprised the world this morning by announcing her engagement to Lord Googoo, a relatively unknown dance instructor.

According to our anonymous source, the couple met when Googoo tried to teach Gaga a dance routine for her “Born This Way” video. Our source also reported that the instruction was “largely in vain.”

Unlike Gaga, Googoo’s name is derived from actually being a lord. He currently serves as the Viscount of Googoo, a small fiefdom in the hills of Luxembourg.

Gaga asserted in a recent press release that she plans to keep her name after the marriage. Text messages stolen obtained from her cell phone hint at her re-branding herself “Lady Googoo-Gaga.”
